Nominations for 2026 are now open. The OPMA honours individuals and organizations in five award categories for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to our the industry. The awards are presented at the OPMA Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. To nominate a colleague or organization, complete a nomination form (links below).
An organization or individual retail store, wholesaler, grower, packer/shipper or corporation (e.g. chain of stores, farm operation, logistics etc.) that has demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the produce industry through their efforts to improve the quality and distribution of fruits and vegetables marketed within or outside the province of Ontario. An individual that has over many years demonstrated untiring efforts to improve the quality and distribution of fruits and vegetables marketed within or outside the province of Ontario through innovation, cooperation and hard work. This person does not necessarily have to be currently active in the Ontario produce industry. Click here to read more...
Awarded to two women (one Senior and one Junior) who have who has contributed to the produce industry’s growth and development. This award is open to women in all departments/positions within a produce organization that is a member of the OPMA.
Examples of contributions include, but are not limited to:
