Another anticipated event is coming – hosted by the OPMA’s Young Professionals, spend an afternoon at a brewery learning and networking with produce people.

Where: The Wellington Brewery Taproom, 950 Woodlawn Rd W, Guelph, ON

Date: November 7, 2023; 3-7pm

The plan: Start the afternoon with a charcuterie board from Mucci Farms and then dive into a presentation from Rob Mussleman, Manager of Agriculture Credit at TD. Rob will crunch the numbers for us and break down reading financial reports. Next up, a hot ones retailer panel with Mimmo Franzone (Longo’s), Shayne Burrows (Goodness Me), and Michael Kiez (Costco). The conversation will bounce between professional insights and personal stories so the audience can really get to know these retailers while they are (literally) in the hot seat. And this time, the Young Professionals Committee is supplying the wing sauces so you know it will be spicy!

When the presentations wrap up, enjoy some snacks, drinks, and networking in a rustic brewery setting – option to do a tour and tasting!
